This panel lists only verified, formally granted approvals. Other services on the Platform — Obotan Wallet, Obotan Shop, Obotan Credit — are facilitated in coordination with regulated banking and payment Partner Institutions and are not themselves crowdfunding activities. Obotan is also subject to applicable requirements under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), and Ghana's anti-money laundering legislation.
Our Business Model
Obotan is a technology-enabled financial infrastructure company. Where specialised financial activities require specific regulatory authorisation, those services are undertaken through appropriately licensed institutions and approved strategic partners in accordance with applicable laws and contractual arrangements.

Depending on the service, partners may include banks, payment service providers, licensed financial institutions, trustees, custodians, insurance providers and technology service providers.
