Security & Customer Protection

Protecting Your Information, Your Transactions and Your Confidence

Security is integrated into the design of our technology, operational processes and governance framework — not a single technology or product, but an ongoing commitment.

How We Protect Customers

Secure Account Access
Authenticated accounts designed to protect personal information and account integrity.
Identity Verification
Helping ensure Platform services are accessed by appropriately identified customers.
Encrypted Communications
Sensitive information is protected using industry-standard encryption during transmission.
Digital Audit Records
Key platform activities generate digital records supporting accountability and review.

Keeping Your Account Secure

Use strong, unique passwords, keep login credentials confidential, avoid sharing verification codes, sign out after using shared devices, and contact us immediately if suspicious activity is detected.

Recognising Fraud

Never share your password or one-time verification codes. Be cautious of unsolicited emails, messages or phone calls requesting sensitive information. Obotan will never ask you to disclose your password through email, SMS or telephone.

Fair Disclosure & Fund Protection

Fees, terms, and risks are disclosed before you commit to a transaction. Subscription funds for regulated investment products are held through escrow or trust arrangements with regulated Partner Institutions, not directly by Obotan.

Your Rights

Access, correction, deletion (subject to legal limits), objection, restriction, consent withdrawal, and escalation to the Ghana SEC. See Privacy & Cookies → .

Reporting a Security Concern
